Britains biggest earthquake in 25 years, and arent we just dramatic about it.

I have to admit it was unusual, I woke up thinking it was the wind, but then I was like 'my bed doesnt shake in the wind" then I snuggled up in my quilt and waited for it to stop. In the morning I thought I dreamt it, then I found a txt on my phone from my brother saying "fuck me! did you feel that?"

So yeah thats all people seem to have talked about today. some people on the news were totally over-reacting really "it was terrifying! Just the worst experience in the world" hahah. I mean....there was one injury in the entire country, it was hardly like godzilla attacked.

Anyway, moving on. 

This week Ive been really looking forward to my summer road trip. I know itll go tits up. It'll be unplanned, unprepared and over too fast. Can't wait. My only fear is the lack of places to charge my camera but I'm sure I'll sort something out. Apparently you can do sand sledging in the south of France?

Pretty uninspired today really. I might take a drive or somehting.

My zombie surgeon outfit arrived today. Which is gooooood and I'm getting all excited now. I dont like the mask though as its a bit warm and cheesy, so I think on Friday Im going to ditch it in favour of zombie facepainting (which will probably look more like a zombie applied it ) so that should be fun.

I'm also making plans for Sunday too. Apparently there is a big fright night in the city centre, like 31,000 people went last year? Biggest in the country or something? I must have slept through that last year. Sounds awesome though! Theres a funfair, market stalls, entertainment, haunted walks and rocky horror sing alongs. So thats got me pretty excited. Also I'm going out on halloween itself but where is still under discussion. So this weekend should be great! Stay tuned for pictures.

In other news, work has started to bore me, but I love the morning drive, which is unexpected.

Soooo, it’s been a while since I’ve used Livejournal but here I am again. It’s strange how I always like the idea of having a journal but every time I actually go to write in it my mind blanks.

Right, I’m English, I don’t know what to say, so yes, weather. It’s getting cold now, the air has that freshness to it, which at first is quite pleasant, it feels crisper and cleaner. However as soon as it reaches my hands and I’m shivering all the time unless I’m sat in front of a fire with a blanket wrapped round me then novelty of fresh air wares off.

I'm trying to get back to writing again, it's just a matter of sitting myself down to do it, I'm always unmotivated until I actually pick up a pen, then after 5 minutes things seem to get flowing. My problem is I can'y stick with one story until the end, I've too many ideas and the attention span of a goldfish. I think LJ might help me get my thoughts in order, writing is sobering.

Halloween soon! Can’t wait. I should get my zombie surgeon outfit tomorrow and Mat’s picked up some face paints and stuff. Should be a really good night on Friday, though on Halloween I’ve no idea what I’m doing but Kyle says he wants to do something so it looks like I wont be sat in bored like last year.

Then bonfire night, then Christrmas. It’s coming up fast, though it always does this time of year. I've not enough time to do any of the things I'd like to do before then, there just isn't enough hours in a day. I guess I will just have to try and find a balance between thinking and doing.

I really dont know where Im going with this.
